happy valentines day everybug! my favourite holiday :3

FIRST THINGS FIRST!! sorry for the inactivity!! im coming off the end of a pretty bad manic depressive episode so i finally built up the courage to come back to newgrounds,, not like ive drawn much anyways but!! im regaining my energy to :) i thuink it was spurred from work and finances stress, but im slowly learning and getting used to it with the help of my partner.

that being said, theres not alot of news! it has been just about a month- not too long but enough to make me feel bad for going radio silent ;^^ i stopped writing but im slowly chipping away at at the sight of blood again! a couple more chapters have been outlined, and i write a bit everyday! off of newgrounds, ive been doing more cosplay and making more friends in the communities on instagram and tumblr. (my tumblr is 18+, be advised if you search!) ive also made a new design for business cards and actually got them printed!

i plan to start printing and selling on etsy within the year, as soon as my checks get to a good place again. (got spoiled by holiday hours, lol) as always, commissions are open! if you contacted me over the past month ive been gone and never got a response, please message me again! i sincerely apologize for worrying or coming off rude to anyone, ive just been going through personal problems <3

happy thanksgiving everynyan! ive gotta get into posting news posts more.

this certainly has been a year so far. got really into bendy and the ink machine for a while, then gravity falls. drew a LOT more than last year, im up to 200+ pieces on here now! though i completely fell off of art trades and commissions. i turned 18 this year so i moved coms over to kofi, i think that screwed me a bit. artfight was great this year! made a couple friends from it, did my first mass attack there, got some new ideas for my stories from other peoples takes on them. good stuff! ive certainly improved since last year. on the newgrounds front i participated in a bunch of collabs! the adult swim collab, alien collab, pokemon variance, and pokemon gjinka collabs were my favourites this year. i also drew for pico day! i love this place and i hope to interact more with people on here :)

at the start of the year, i posted a piece teasing a webcomic i was making called 'chasing immortality.' i wanted to have it started by august but that never happened, and unfortunately i got into a situation with my real life friends who were helping me with it that left me without the rights to big parts of the story and no more help. so thats on indefinite hiatus! i know i never posted much about it, but it was important to me and i figured it wouldnt hurt to write about it just in case anyone was curious. in better news ive been working a whole lot on another story, at the sight of blood! thats been most of what ive posted for the last month, at least. ive even written out actually story stuff for it, a prolouge and the first three chapters (and a bunch of snippets but that doesnt count.) id like to start drawing it out as a webcomic sometime next year, but i wanna have the writing in a place that makes me feel good enough to start setting things in stone like that. im working on it completely by myself, so the only thing hindering me is... procrastination.

anyways im thankful for all of you!! thankful for having a nice community to share my art and thankful for being able to see so many talented peoples work too! if i have any more news ill probably share it in a christmas or new years post, but ill probably forget. dont know why i felt like writing this one!
